Bellaggio Chapter Gives Their Regards to Broadway via Costume World

On January 18, 2012, Bellaggio Pap Corps ladies enjoyed a fantastic afternoon at Costume World in Pompano Beach. Our trip began on Broadway with the docent led tour of full cast costumes of the world’s most beloved Broadway shows, including The King and I, Fiddler on the Roof, and The Music Man.

On to Tavern on the Green for a sumptuous luncheon served on linen and china under the famed Tavern on the Green Chandelier from that American iconic restaurant.  During the dessert portion we were treated to a show featuring a Broadway male vocalist, culminating with an informative chat by Marilyn Wick, President of Costume World. Her rags to riches story was one of the highlights of the day. 

Finally, it was on to a visit to the Tavern Hat room...where our ladies enjoyed trying on various stage hats from many Broadway shows. As is evident by the photos
below, a good time was had by all of our Bellaggio Broadway Babies.
