Boca West Annual Golf Tournament

The 14th Annual Golf and Tennis Tournament for the Boca West Chapter of the Pap Corps was held on Monday, Dec 12th at the Boca West Country Club. The theme was "Booze and Blues". The day was loaded with activities. The morning started with  a tennis exhibition starring Chris Evert and our own pros: John Joyce and Duby Petrovichis This was followed by a tennis tornament. Len Rashkin and Ben Marcus  were the winners. The golf tounament followed with 35 foursomes enjoying a special "Booze and Blues Tournament" and lunch on the courses.

The winners were:  

Mens:                         Shep Forrest, Bob Markay Mike Wasserman, Ralph Feldman,

Women:                      Fern Rod, Maxine Miller, Suzy Lehrman, Enith Berg

Mixed:                         Bonny and Marvin Rosen, Bernie and Judy Robinson

 

At 5 o'clock everyone attended a cocktail hour, dinner and dancing to live music at the main clubhouse. Lorrie Grossman and her committee did an outstanding job  on decorations. Jay DiPietro, our General Manager and President of Boca West  Country Club successfully auctioned off a golf cart and two cruises. Lois  Feldman and Ed Locker were the event chairs. The chapter raised $180,000 for the day.
