The Pap Corps White Elephant Sale A Huge Success!!!!
Thanks to all our chapters whose members not only rounded up a multitude of merchandise, but also took advantage of the vast array of bargains − from the smallest bric-a-brac to clothes, jewelry, handbags and housewares. The turnout was phenomenal – both members and the public – and there was a spirit in the air that matched all the positives of the day, which were many.
The event provided The Pap Corps’ 55th Chapter, aka The West Boca High Pap Club, a perfect opportunity to shine. They did a stupendous job on their home-baked goods, which were so delicious they sold out. They sold T-shirts as well. But most of all, their presence was key to that special feeling most people experienced. Kudos to our young Champions for Cancer Research!
High fives also to Phyllis and Richie Fives for arranging to have National Deli donate the hotdogs and rolls. With their contribution and the outstanding baked goods, our Food Court was a smashing success.
We couldn’t have anticipated the remarkable number of shoppers who came through that day. Looking and shopping. The final tally is well over $20,000.
Everyone worked extremely hard to make this a memorable and profitable event. Each and every one of us should be proud of our efforts, but especially Co-Chairs Andrea Abelow and Jo-Ann Gerson. They came up with the idea, said they could make it work and proceeded to actually outdo themselves! Congratulations!
